THE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF MATAMOROS DELIVERS FIRST AND SECOND GENERATION OF ENGINEERING GRADUATES

Mr. Raúl César González García, Sponsor of Generations
The Technological University of Matamoros delivered to the productive sector of Tamaulipas the First and Second Generations of Engineering, during the graduation ceremony in which Mr. Raúl César González García, regional coordinator of the northern zone of the State Government’s «Todos por Tamaulipas» Program, acted as sponsor.
In this important ceremony held on November 1, the students who were part of the Nineteenth and Twentieth generation of Higher University Technician also graduated.

José Antonio Tovar Lara congratulated the young graduates on behalf of the university community, but particularly the parents who encouraged them and gave them all their support so that they could complete this stage of their lives with satisfaction.
In this context, the UTM Rector thanked the presence of the godfather of the four generations of graduates, to whom he acknowledged the work he does for the good of education and the development of this region.
Tovar Lara dedicated a special mention to the Governor of the State, Egidio Torre Cantú, thanking him for the impulse he is providing to strengthen the quality of education and technological development and innovation in Tamaulipas.
I thank the Governor of the State for the investment of 18 million pesos for the construction of a building that is currently under construction at the Technological University of Matamoros, which will include a software development laboratory, a pioneer in the State, as well as a telecommunications laboratory, also the first in Tamaulipas, in addition to another electronics laboratory and another mechatronics laboratory.
During the graduation ceremony, the UTM Rector also referred to the adjustments that will be made to the academic programs of the Maintenance specialty so that young people can be prepared in the area of Petroleum, and thus be in a position to contribute to the training of specialists that PEMEX will require for the exploitation of hydrocarbons in deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Raul Cesar Gonzalez Garcia congratulated the graduates and called on them to continue preparing for a promising future as professionals.
Governor Egidio Torre Cantú, he added, is convinced that education is the fundamental basis for development and the surest way to progress and get ahead.
That is why in our state, we are committed to a quality education that trains competitive professionals, with the necessary knowledge for the growth of strategic sectors, such as yours, he added.
Tamaulipas trusts in you, in your commitment and in your love for this land; Tamaulipas trusts in you for having successfully completed this stage in your lives; I invite you all for Tamaulipas to go in search of new goals and broader horizons, he concluded by wishing success to all the graduates.
