LUIS DONALDO COLOSIO RIOJAS PRESENTS AT UNIVERSIDAD TECNOLOGICA DE MATAMOROS
With the conference «The Hope of a Mexican».
In compliance with the educational policy of the governor of Tamaulipas, Mr. Egidio Torre Cantú, the Technological University of Matamoros, Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros, promotes the integral development of the youth of Matamoros, by presenting important conferences, such as the one given by Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas, with the theme «The Hope of a Mexican», presented to high school and college students and civil society.
In welcoming the students and directors of secondary and higher education, the representatives of civil society, the members of the Special Events Committee, represented by Armando Guajardo Gonzalez and of course Colosio Riojas, the rector of UTM, Mr. Jose Antonio Tovar Lara, emphasized that the institution works with quality educational programs, due to the impulse that the Constitutional Governor of Tamaulipas gives to higher education.
We are very pleased to welcome young people from different educational institutions to the Technological University of Matamoros to participate in this great conference offered by Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas, with the theme «The Hope of a Mexican».
We know his trajectory; we know that his talk will be a great incentive and motivation for all of us,» he said when welcoming the young speaker.
Afterwards, Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas went up to the stage installed inside the UTM’s Vinculación building and for more than 40 minutes he held an interesting talk with the students, to whom he answered some of the questions asked.
In this context, Tovar Lara also announced that in addition to presenting the conference with Colosio Riojas, on April 8 UTM will also present the Mexican writer, Carlos Cuauhtémoc Sánchez, who will give the conference «Jóvenes fuertes en tiempos Difíciles» (Strong Youth in Difficult Times).
He also took the opportunity to congratulate and wish the best of success to the students of this university who will represent Mexico in the Robotics Championship 2014, to be held in Anaheim, California with the participation of more than 76 countries.
On May 22 and 23, the Technological University of Matamoros is also organizing the International Science and Technology Congress with the participation of 18 scientists and researchers from India, England, Spain, Germany, Canada, the United States and Mexico.
