IVETT BERMEA ASSUMES THE RECTORSHIP OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF MATAMOROS
This morning, Ivette Bermea Vázquez assumed the rectorship of the Technological University of Matamoros, Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros, after receiving the appointment from the hands of the Constitutional Governor of Tamaulipas, Francisco Javier García Cabeza de Vaca.
Governor Cabeza de Vaca has given us the confidence to lead this institution, which is currently the number one in the country, after obtaining the highest qualification in the areas of education, networking, as well as management and impact projects, he said.
We will work very hard to link this institution with the business sector because our goal is that every one of UTM’s young graduates will be hired in the labor sector.
But we will also work to ensure that our students and graduates become entrepreneurs who drive their own businesses and in the future, they will also become employers.
Upon her arrival at UTM, Bermea Vázquez first held a meeting with the institution’s directors and later with representatives of the media, to whom she mentioned that academic programs will be strengthened, giving a strong impetus to strengthen and consolidate a culture of appreciation and interest in science and technological innovation.
She reiterated her commitment to the young people of the Technological University of Matamoros to continue providing and guaranteeing a quality education, as well as to the Constitutional Governor of Tamaulipas so that this institution continues to be the best in the state.
