ITABEC 624 “BECAS FUTURO TAMAULIPAS”
With the purpose of ensuring that the young people of Tamaulipas do not abandon their university studies and complete their higher education, the State Government, through the Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas, through the Tamaulipas Institute of Scholarships, Incentives and Educational Credits (ITABEC), delivered 624 “Future Tamaulipas Scholarships” to students of the Technological University of Matamoros (UTM).
Lucia Aimé Castillo Pastor, Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas, was in charge of the delivery of these educational incentives. She expressed that these actions endorse the commitment of Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, Governor of the State of Tamaulipas, to provide more and better opportunities to our young university students.
A total of 624 students benefited and received the amount of 2 thousand pesos, covering the period from February to June of this year, with a total investment of one million 248 thousand pesos.
During the event, Ms. Diana Masso Quintana, UTM’s rector, thanked the support given to the students of our institution and acknowledged the tireless work of the State Government, led by Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, to continue working to transform education in Tamaulipas.
Likewise, the director of ITABEC, Juan Guillermo Mansur Arzola, emphasized that for Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, education is a priority, so through the Secretary of Education, headed by Lucía Aimé Castillo Pastor, we work so that the students have the best educational tools and can be a factor of transformation in the state.
