Wellness and Prevention for Our University Community
With a strong commitment to promoting healthy habits and sharing essential information on physical well-being, UTMatamoros continues to organize health campaigns aimed at preventing illness among students, faculty, and administrative staff.
During the latest campaign, participants received a variety of services including medical consultations, weight and height assessments, wellness talks, antiparasitic treatments, oral rehydration solutions, and vitamins. Influenza vaccines were also administered to students and faculty members.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) for their support in making this event possible and for their ongoing dedication to the health of our university community.
As emphasized by Governor Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, we remain committed to advancing initiatives that promote wellness and improve quality of life across our campus.
