Graduation Ceremony | Generation 2024

UTMatamoros writes a new page in its history with the graduation of Generation 2024.

In the presence of more than 7,000 thousand people, the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros celebrated its Graduation Ceremony of Generation 2024, in which more than 1,200 students received their professional degrees in the following careers:

Higher University Technician:

– Industrial Maintenance

– International Business Operations CADA area

– Mechatronics

– Information Technologies, Digital Networks area

– Industrial Processes Manufacturing Area

– Administration Project Formulation and Evaluation Area

Bachelor’s Degree

– Project Management and Evaluation

Engineering

– Industrial Maintenance

– Productive Systems

– Mechatronics

– Intelligent Networks and Cyber Security

– International Logistics

José Alberto Granados Fávila, who has been a pillar in supporting education in Matamoros, was present to support and motivate the new professionals. During his message, the Mayor said:

«Today, Matamoros and Tamaulipas proudly receive a new generation of professionals committed to serving society. I have no doubt that they will mark the history of our city. I would also like to express my gratitude for having designated me as the godfather of the class of 2024. You can be sure that, in me, you have not only a great sponsor, but also a friend and ally, always ready to support you. I am your municipal president and I will always be at your service”.

Our rector, Mtra. Diana Masso Quintana, led this historic ceremony and expressed with deep emotion the pride of seeing her students take this great step, the fruit of years of effort and perseverance.

“It is a day that will remain engraved in our memory, since, for the first time in the history of UTMatamoros, our students receive their degrees in a timely manner,” said the Chancellor. She also highlighted and deeply thanked the invaluable support of Governor Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, whose commitment to the education of the youth of Tamaulipas has been fundamental to this historic achievement. “His effort and dedication continue to open doors to new opportunities for future generations.”

Ana Isabel Lerma González, Director of Higher Education, representing the Governor of the State of Tamaulipas, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya; Lucía Aimé Castillo Pastor, Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas; and Sandra Luz Pedraza Anaya, Coordinator of Decentralized Public Organizations, were present as guests of honor.

The ceremony was also attended by military and naval authorities, as well as directors of local and state educational institutions, who highlighted this important event.

Likewise, the Matamoros Technological University expressed its gratitude to the Matamoros Gavilanes for opening the doors of their home to them on this significant occasion.

Dear graduates, this achievement is only the beginning of great things, may your efforts take you far! Forever Lions!
