Gold Medal for UTMatamoros
UTMatamoros won a Gold Medal at the World Innovative Science Fair (WISF 2021) in Indonesia with the project «Development of an Augmented Reality APP for Teaching Geometric Figures» held virtually from July 10 to July 15.
This project from its beginnings has stood out in different competitions:
In 2019 the project «Elements Play» won third place nationally in the National Competition for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Technological And Polytechnic Universities (CONIES 2019), held in Coahuila.

In 2021, they managed to participate in the XXIX International Congress of Young Researchers, via virtual in Zaragoza, Spain, where thanks to their outstanding participation they obtained the invitation and acceptance to the WISF 2021 in Indonesia representing Mexico.
