FIRST REGIONAL MEETING ON CONNECTION AND SOCIAL RELEVANCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION
UTMatamoros hosts the FIRST REGIONAL MEETING OF CONNECTION AND SOCIAL RELEVANCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
The Ministry of Education of Tamaulipas, through the Undersecretary of Higher and Higher Secondary Education, held the First Regional Meeting of Linkage and Social Relevance of Higher Education (Matamoros, Valle Hermoso and San Fernando), with the objective of establishing linkage mechanisms to achieve professional careers with social relevance, establishing actions between the education and business sectors, to direct the educational offerings.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mario Gómez Monroy, Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas, with the participation of Mr. Miguel Villarreal Ongay, Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare in the State, as well as Mr. Ezequiel Flores Darán Torres Arpi, Undersecretary of Secondary and Higher Education and Mtro. Flavio Hinojosa Álvarez, Rector of UTMatamoros, as well as companies with collaboration agreements with the Technological University of Matamoros, chambers of commerce, rectors and directors of public and private higher education institutions in the municipalities of Matamoros, Valle Hermoso and San Fernando, and connections from the Regional CREDES.
