First National Meeting of Rectors 2024: Transforming Advanced Technological Education
As part of the coordination and participation actions provided by the General Law of Higher Education for the development of higher education, as well as the axes and lines of action agreed as part of the General Plan of Action 2023-2026 for the Transformation and Consolidation of the Universities of the Technological Subsystem, the Rector of the UTM, Ms. Diana Masso Quintana, attended the First National Meeting of Rectors held at the Technological University of Matamoros in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit.
The rector of the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros, Diana Masso Quintana, attended the First National Meeting of Rectors held at the Universidad Tecnológica de Bahía Banderas, Nayarit.
A highlight was the presentation of the implementation of the New Educational Model by Ms. Marlenne Johvana Mendoza González, General Director of Technological and Polytechnic Universities, which contemplates the design, development and curricular innovation of academic programs, study plans and programs of higher education provided by technological and polytechnic universities.
The Governor of Nayarit and all the rectors of Tamaulipas were also present. This meeting not only reaffirms our commitment to the continuous improvement of technological higher education, but also marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration and academic excellence.
Together, hand in hand with the Governor of the State, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, and our ally, Mrs. Lucia Aimé Castillo Pastor, Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas, we are charting the path towards a promising future.
