FireEye Team Advances to Infomatrix Nationals with Silver Medal!
Talent, strategy, and university spirit are driving UTMatamoros forward! The FireEye team, made up of TSU Automation students Emmanuel Guillermo Juárez and Alejandro Galván Manrique, along with their advisor Ing. Misael Condado Fomperosa, earned a Silver Medal at the XIX Infomatrix Regional 2025, held virtually.
Their project, FireEye, is an automated device designed to detect forest fires in remote areas—competing in the Robotics–Mechatronics category. The team showcased exceptional preparation, leadership, and commitment throughout the competition.
This achievement reflects the innovation and talent nurtured in UTMatamoros classrooms and labs. Now, with the national stage ahead, the entire university community stands proudly behind them.
