Fifth National Congress on Space Activities (CONACES 2024)
The Government of the State of Tamaulipas, led by Américo Villarreal Anaya, together with the Mexican Space Agency and the Municipal Government of Matamoros, kicked off the Fifth National Congress of Space Activities (CONACES) 2024. The main objective of this event is to motivate Latin American youth, especially those from Tamaulipas, to explore scientific and technological vocations, essential to build a more sustainable future for our planet.
The Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros was present at this event, standing out as one of the pioneering institutions in the promotion of technological innovation. Through various workshops, the university seeks to promote the development and implementation of technologies applied to education, positively impacting children and youth in the region.
As part of this important congress, a letter of intent was signed between the State Government, the Mexican Space Agency, the Matamoros Municipal Government and Infinity City Space. This agreement strengthens the collaboration for the development of space technologies, placing Tamaulipas at the forefront in this area and opening new doors for progress in the state.
These actions respond to the commitment of Governor Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya and the Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas, Mrs. Lucia Aimé Castillo Pastor, to promote education in the state. With dedication, effort and a humanistic approach, the Government of the Transformation of Tamaulipas continues working to fulfill its mission of progress.
