Empowering the Future of Our Youth!
On Monday, May 26, thanks to the Municipal Government of Matamoros and the Municipal DIF System, UTMatamoros welcomed two impactful programs designed to support students facing vulnerability and/or visual impairment:
🎓 “My Degree, the Final Step Toward Success” Support for the processing of professional degree certification.
👓 “Visual Wellness for All” Distribution of eyeglasses to improve visual health, enhance quality of life, and promote social inclusion—regardless of age, gender, or economic status.
Through these initiatives, we continue working toward a more accessible and inclusive education for everyone.
We extend our sincere thanks to Lic. Alberto Granados Fávila, Mayor of Matamoros, and Lic. Ana Ariceaga de Granados, President of the Municipal DIF, for bringing these resources to our university students.
We also thank Governor Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya for supporting these life-changing efforts, aligned with his commitment to ensuring universal, inclusive, and equitable education for all Tamaulipas residents
