EMPLOYERS HIRE UTM STUDENTS.
More and more industrialists are interested in hiring students from the Technological University of Matamoros ( Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros), informed Mr. Alejandro Fernández Sandoval, head of the Business Incubator Program at this university center.
«I dare say that out of every 10 students who are about to finish their studies here with us, nine of them are already working for a company, developing programs and projects related to the careers they studied,» he said.
Companies such as TPI Composites, which recently arrived in Matamoros to manufacture wind blades, is one of the companies that has shown great interest in hiring our young people, who belong to the specialties of mechatronics, industrial processes, among others.
«In fact, some Customs Agencies have hired young people who are studying Information Technology and International Trade, young people who, two semesters after finishing their studies, are already part of the productive sector and, above all, doing what they like the most,» he said.
This speaks, he said, of the reliability that the productive sector has with our students, they realize that they are young people who are well prepared and who know how to develop their potential, being already part of their companies.
This is also a clear example of the good academic level of the UT Matamoros, a university center that is on its way to becoming the first International and Sustainable Bilingual Technological University in the State of Tamaulipas, a project initiated by Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, president of this educational institution, which will begin in August of this year.
