Director of ITIFE supervises work at the UTM
Diana Masso Quintana, Rector of the Technological University of Matamoros, received Mr. Sergio Oliverio Castillo Sagastegui, General Director of the Tamaulipas Institute of Physical Education Infrastructure (ITIFE), who visited the campus to supervise the progress of the rehabilitation of the campus buildings.
Currently, the work is 90% complete and the work is expected to be finished in the next few months. The investment for this work comes from the Fondo de Aportaciones Múltiples (FAM). It will benefit close to 3,500 students, as well as the teaching and administrative staff of the institution.
These actions, promoted by our Governor, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, represent a significant advance for education in Tamaulipas, transforming schools into dignified and safe spaces that strengthen the teaching-learning process.
