CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOPS OFFERED BY THE UT MATAMOROS.
In order to make young people aware of the serious health problems they acquire by using cigarettes, the Technological University of Matamoros ( Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros), with the support of the Medical Specialties Unit and Primary Care Center (UNEME CAPA) offered a conference called «Live Without Tobacco», which was offered to young university students in the auditorium located in the liaison building, a conference of great interest and that was well used by the students of this institution. This in the framework of the International No Tobacco Day, which is celebrated on May 31.

UTM receives children with outstanding IQ.
On another note, the University opened its doors to several elementary school children so that they could get to know the University’s facilities, as well as participate in robotics, application development and programming workshops, which were offered in the afternoons from May 29 to 31.
These are outstanding children who have shown a taste for Science and Technology at their schools, hence the invitation made by UTM for these children to visit its facilities and participate in various workshops.
