Cassandra Michelle Velez, CONADE 2024 National Champion in Weightlifting.
Cassandra Michelle Velez, is crowned as the Absolute Champion in the 49kg-U23 division, after obtaining first place in Arranque, Envion and Total. It is worth mentioning that Cassandra Michelle Velez is the first athlete in the history of Tamaulipas to achieve first place in the CONADE Nationals and the National Universiade, two of the most important sporting events in the country.
The UTM congratulates its coach Joaquín Castañeda for the outstanding participation in high performance sports of the UTM Weightlifting team.
