CHILDREN FROM EJIDO COMMUNITIES ENJOY CHRISTMAS POSADA OFFERED BY UTM
A total of 300 children from the ejidos Guadalupe, Tahuachal, El Ebanito and Realito enjoyed with great excitement the Christmas posada offered by the Technological University of Matamoros on the occasion of the upcoming arrival of Christmas.
This celebration in the facilities of the Technological University of Matamoros is already a tradition and with it we seek to bring moments of happiness to the children of the rural communities adjacent to this institution, said the rector Jose Antonio Tovar Lara.
A children’s show enlivened the celebration for the children, who showed happy faces when they saw the show offered by their favorite characters such as Spiderman, the Fireman, Elsa, the Snow Queen, Mickey Mouse and Mimi, the Fireman, among other well-known heroes.
With admiration, the children of the ejido communities received Santa Claus, who was handing out gifts to the winners of the different contests organized by the members of the children’s show that enlivened the Christmas party.
At their Christmas party offered by UTM, the little guests broke piñatas, enjoyed a delicious cake and received a gift that brought them much joy.
At the end of the celebration, the children from the rural communities toured the facilities of the Technological University of Matamoros until they reached the point where a monumental pine tree was installed and there they were received by the rector Jose Antonio Tovar Lara, who invited them to take a photo.
Later, the children were taken to the ejido communities where they live, taking with them their gifts and the beautiful memory of participating in the great Christmas posada offered annually by the Technological University of Matamoros.
