The Embassy of the United States in Mexico in collaboration with the Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior de la República Mexicana, A.C. (ANUIES) and the University of New Mexico (UNM) are issuing the 2021 Call for Applications in the framework of the Strength of 100,000 in the Americas and the Bilateral Forum on Higher Education, Innovation and Research (FOBESII) initiatives Identity and Community Leadership: A Virtual Encounter with the United States of America.
Mexican students belonging to an indigenous people, outstanding for their academic performance, extracurricular activities and leadership both in their academic institutions and in their communities and who are in their final year of undergraduate studies (completing their bachelor’s degree in December 2021 or June 2022) take advantage of the Identity and Community Leadership Program: a virtual encounter with the United States of America. The program seeks to provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of and strengthen participants’ leadership skills and bilateral relationship with the United States.
