UTM will apply a new admission test on August 23rd.
Due to the great demand from high school graduates, the Technological University of Matamoros has opened a new admission exam date for August 23rd, informed José Antonio Tovar Lara.
The UTM rector said that at the moment there are a little more than a thousand new students who have enrolled in the institution, however, he added, new applicants are arriving who wish to enter the university, for this reason, we decided to open a new date.
Tovar Lara invited all those interested in entering UTM’s different careers to go to the School Services department to register for the Ceneval exam, which will be administered on August 23 at 9:00 am.
Among the careers offered by the Technological University of Matamoros are: Project Administration; Mechatronics in the Automation area; Mechatronics in the Electricity area; Industrial Maintenance; Production Systems; International Logistics and Information and Communication Technologies.
The rector of the institution explained that graduates from the Tamaulipas High School (COBAT), the Industrial and Service Technological High School (CBTIS), the Tamaulipas Institute of Training for Employment (ITACE), the National College of Technical Professional Education (CONALEP), as well as from the different cooperative and private high schools can register for the admission exam at UTM.
Regarding the careers offered by the Technological University of Matamoros, he explained that each one of them is a response to the productive sector of the region, which will allow the graduates of the different engineering programs to have great advantages to join the labor market.
Applicants for admission to UTM must present proof of studies, the CURP extended to 200 percent and a payment of 300 pesos, which will entitle them to the admission exam.
The fee charged by the university per term is quite economical, with the purpose of encouraging parents to make an effort and continue supporting their children’s desire to improve and have access to a better standard of living.
Registration for the admission exam will be open until August 22nd at UTM’s facilities located on the highway to Reynosa, at kilometer 8.5 (Ejido Guadalupe).
