1st UTMatamoros Activity Report

This morning, in the presence of students, teachers, businessmen and special guests, the rector of the UTM, Diana Masso Quintana, presented her first educational management report, where she highlighted the academic, sports and cultural achievements of the institution.
These actions have positioned our institution as one of the best in the region, by providing quality education. During her message, the rector highlighted the achievements recently obtained at the national and international level in science and technology.
-Gold Medal with the V2Go Project, International Meeting of Science and Technological Innovation in Bali, Indonesia.
-International accreditation to FJIPE – International Meeting of Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology and Innovation 2024 in Ecuador, with the DISAP-BRAILLE project.
As well as national and international first places with robotics clubs, where students have put the Universidad Tecnologica de Matamoros on high in countries such as Canada, Colombia, Spain and the United States.
In terms of culture and sports, the students have positioned themselves as the best athletes and artists of the country’s Technological Universities.
The Chancellor highlighted the great participation of teachers and administrative personnel in achieving the certification of the different careers offered, as well as the signing of agreements with companies and educational institutions and social projects.
With the leadership of Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, Governor of the State of Tamaulipas and Mrs. Lucia Aimé Castillo Pastor, Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas, we are transforming education in Tamaulipas at the UTM.
We thank all the teachers, administrative and custodial staff, who every day work with dedication and commitment for our institution.
