Voices in Harmony: UTMatamoros Joins the Reading Marathon for Peace
At UTMatamoros, every word spoken during our Reading Marathon for Peace became a powerful act of resistance against addiction and a celebration of empathy, awareness, and community values.
This meaningful activity was carried out under the guidance of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Governor Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, and Secretary of Education Dr. Miguel Ángel Valdez García, as part of a national prevention strategy through education.
The event not only promoted literacy but also encouraged ethical reflection and social responsibility among students—proving that reading can be a transformative tool for peace and well-being.
