As part of the Gender Equity Program, the Technological University of Matamoros received a visit from Yolanda A. Parra, Consul of the United States of America in Matamoros, who gave a lecture on gender equity. Parra, Consul of the United States of America in Matamoros, who gave a Virtual Conference entitled «Challenges and Experiences of Women in the Diplomatic Service».
Also in attendance was Jill Dietrich, Consul of the United States of America for Education, Press and Cultural Affairs based in Monterrey, and executives. At the end of the conference, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Alvarez, UTMatamoros President, thanked the Consul for her interesting talk about her experience in the foreign service of the State Department and presented an award on behalf of the Technological University of Matamoros.
