UTMATAMOROS PROMOTES WATER CONSERVATION

This morning, UTMatamoros faculty and researchers presented sustainability projects to the directors of the Matamoros Water and Drainage Board (Junta de Aguas y Drenajes) with the goal of strengthening actions to conserve water.

The meeting was attended by Professor Diana Masso Quintana, Rector of UTM; Engineer Marco Antonio Hernández Acosta, General Manager of JAD; and Lic. Bertha Padilla Maldonado, Director of Water Culture in Matamoros, in addition to directors from both institutions.

We deeply thank our faculty for their ongoing commitment to sustainability and the preservation of our natural resources.
