UTMATAMOROS FESTIVAL 2019: JOURNEY OF THE SOULS
As part of Crazy Week, the Journey of the Souls Festival took place, where students from our institution presented the Day of the Dead traditions. In Mexico, each town, each region, has its own traditions, its own uses and customs. For this reason, UTMatamoros students took on the task of informing the university community about the traditions that are rooted in us as Mexicans.
During the event, different activities were carried out such as the presentation of a sketch by the theater club of our institution, as well as the presentation of the rondalla and singing club with the interpretation of «La Llorona», «Recuérdame» and «La Bikina», to later carry out the traditional Journey of the Animas which was to tour the campus appreciating the altars made by the students and teachers of the university.
