UT MATAMOROS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE 2018 CUSTOMS LEGAL CHALLENGE.
Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros was once again present at the second «Legal Customs Challenge 2018» organized by Universidad Tecnológica de Nuevo Laredo.
This event took place on September 27th of this year in the city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, with the participation of nine higher education institutions and a total of 18 students who competed in direct duels on the knowledge of Customs Legislation, rules of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) as well as the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
The universities present were Universidad Tecnológica de Tijuana, La Laguna de Durango, Nayarit, San Luis Río Colorado, Gutiérrez Zamora, Veracruz, Matamoros and the host Nuevo Laredo.
UT Matamoros had the presence of two students, who had an outstanding participation, which were accompanied and advised by professors Lidia Requena, Antonio Morlett and Carlos Hinojosa.
As an important point, the organizers of the event requested that the next challenge be held at our university, UT Matamoros.
