Inauguration of the “Tamaulipas Youth Council”
On August 30, 2023, within the framework of International Youth Day, the Ministry of Labor and Social Prevention, through the Youth Institute of Tamaulipas, carried out the installation and inauguration of the “Tamaulipas Youth Council”, chaired by Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, Constitutional Governor of the State of Tamaulipas.
Dhelma Flores Ordaz, who is a Specialized Researcher in the Direction of Research, Teaching Development and Graduate Studies, represented our university as Councilor for Scientific and Technological Development.
The main objective of COTAJU is to generate a Citizen Advisory Council with state representation in order to promote the inclusion of the Youth Agenda and the participation of young people in the conduct of state public policy.
