Guardians of the Sea: UTMatamoros Students Take Action for Sustainability
Students from the Technological University of Matamoros participated in the «Guardians of the Sea» cleanup event, held on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:00 a.m. at Bagdad Beach.
The event was part of efforts to promote environmental awareness and education, in alignment with the goals of the 2030 Agenda. The activity was organized with the aim of fostering a culture of environmental care among the youth of Tamaulipas, as part of the initiatives promoted by the Government of the State of Tamaulipas, led by Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, in favor of sustainability and responsible development. We appreciate the participation of the UTM student volunteers who proudly represented our community’s commitment to sustainability.
