DÍA DE MUERTOS

El Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a tradition that transcends time and fills us with love and memories. That is why the community of the UTM has decided to honor our loved ones, remembering them with floral offerings, dances, food and the traditional Altar of the Dead.
This year it was in memory of Américo Villarreal Guerra, former Governor of the State of Tamaulipas, who always believed in the greatness of Tamaulipas and its people.
During the event there were different activities such as the presentation of the traditional Xantolo dance by the dance club, as well as the presentation of the singing club with the interpretation of “La Llorona”, the tombstone contest and the elaboration of the main altar by the arts club of our institution.
