CONSTRUCTION PROGRESSES ON SPORTS COMPLEX AT UT MATAMOROS
The construction of sports courts at the Technological University of Matamoros ( Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros) continues.
This was reported by the director of Academic Connection, Ms. Beatriz Yarritu Saeb, who said that the work is 50 percent complete and that it will be totally finished by August of this year. It will be a fully roofed sports complex so that the young people will be protected from the sun’s rays and rain.
«By the beginning of the next school year, that is, by August 20,» he said.
This sports space, he said, will allow UTM’s young people to practice basketball, volleyball and fast soccer.
«This is thanks to the efforts of the UT Matamoros Rector, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, who is always attentive to young students, both academically, athletically and culturally,» he concluded.
